Fiberglass braided pultruded winding pipe is a new type of conduit material. It consists of an inner braided layer, a middle layer, and an outer braided layer, formed through a pultrusion process. The inner and outer braided layers, designed with different braiding angles, combined with the longitudinally and circumferentially reinforced middle layer, form an ideal composite material product, mainly used as protective conduits for power cables.
I. Product Introduction
Fiberglass braided winding pipe uses high-strength glass fiber composite material as the reinforcing material. It is formed through winding, curing, and composite molding, resulting in high strength, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, insulation, flame retardancy, and good heat resistance. It has a smooth inner wall, is easy and convenient to install, and has a long service life.Fiber-reinforced composite materials are composite materials formed from reinforcing fiber materials, such as glass fibers, carbon fibers, and aramid fibers, combined with a matrix material through winding, molding, or pultrusion processes. Based on the different reinforcing materials, common fiber-reinforced composite materials are divided into glass fiber reinforced composite materials (GFRP), carbon fiber reinforced composite materials (CFRP), and aramid fiber reinforced composite materials (AFRP).II. Application FieldsThis specifically relates to a fiberglass braided and pultruded pipe used in drainage, sewage systems, fiber optics, cables, underground construction for roads and railways, water conservancy and irrigation, chemical industry, mining fluid transport, and septic tank suction ports.
III. Technical SolutionThe fiberglass braided and pultruded pipe includes a cylindrical pipe body. The pipe body, from the inside out, includes an inner braided layer, a middle longitudinal layer, a middle winding layer, and an outer braided layer. The inner braided layer has a crisscross rhombic mesh structure. The middle longitudinal layer is tightly attached to the inner braided layer, with its yarns arranged along the longitudinal lines of the pipe body's cross-section. The middle winding layer has a crisscross spiral winding structure, with the yarns uniformly wound onto the middle longitudinal layer.
The inner braided layer is woven together with the middle winding layer in the gaps of the middle longitudinal layer. The outer braided layer is woven onto the middle winding layer, resulting in a lightweight, high-strength, corrosion-resistant pipe with a long service life.
IV. Product Advantages
1. High Ring Stiffness and Strong Impact ResistanceThe fiberglass braided winding pultruded pipe utilizes a braiding process with an inner braided layer, a middle longitudinal layer, a middle winding layer, and an outer braided layer. The inner and outer layers are braided layers, and the middle layer is a combination of longitudinal and circumferential layers. Because the braiding angle is generally greater than 90°, the circumferential stiffness is significantly improved compared to traditional pipes, resulting in high strength and flexibility.
Produced through high-precision internal and external molds and high-temperature curing, the pipes have characteristics such as light weight, strong impact resistance, and good toughness. This process increases the product density by 35% compared to traditional processes.2. Smooth Inner Wall
The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, with a roughness coefficient of 0.0084. Under the same flow rate, the pipe diameter can be reduced. It can withstand external heavy pressure and damage caused by foundation settlement.3. Lightweight and Easy InstallationDesigned with straight connections for easy installation, the pipe is lightweight and can be lifted by one person, and installed by two people on-site. This shortens the construction period and reduces installation costs. It also avoids prolonged road excavation and disruption to urban traffic.4. High Corrosion and Water ResistanceDue to extrusion molding under high temperature and pressure, the product has high density and superior water resistance. Using high-performance epoxy resin and alkali-free glass fiber raw materials, its acid and alkali resistance is higher than traditional pipes.5. Good High and Low Temperature ResistanceThe fiberglass braided winding pultruded pipe has frost resistance and high-temperature resistance, adapting to harsh environments. It remains undamaged and undeformed at extreme temperatures of -50℃ to 200℃, maintaining good toughness and high strength. Experiments have shown that when the water-carrying fiberglass braided winding pultruded pipe is below zero degrees Celsius, it has special anti-freezing capabilities. 6. High Electrical InsulationMade from excellent alkali-free fibers and high-performance epoxy resin molded under high pressure, the product has high density, is bubble-free, and possesses high electrical insulation properties.
7. Safe and Environmentally Friendly
The fiberglass braided and pultruded pipe has excellent tensile strength, does not wrinkle or break, is resistant to vulcanization, is smoke-free, halogen-free, non-toxic, flame-retardant, and has good insulation properties. High-temperature curing further enhances its safety and environmental performance.
